Communication and Branding Project Manager

About the role

This position is part of the European Institutions' communication ecosystem, responsible for amplifying key messages and strengthening citizen engagement across Europe. The role focuses on delivering clear, impactful communication that aligns with strategic priorities and supports institutional objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement clear communication strategies and creative concepts aligned with European Institutions’ strategic priorities.
• Drive the rollout, adoption and governance of branding guidelines, create templates, manage a centralised brand portal and provide training and support to internal stakeholders.
• Lead end‑to‑end coordination of communication campaigns and flagship initiatives, from briefing and concept development through execution, evaluation and multi‑channel media planning.
• Provide strategic advisory by translating objectives into concise messaging, reviewing assets for alignment and recommending improvements.
• Conduct audience research and data analysis to inform positioning, messaging and identify emerging trends in communication and branding.

Required profile

• Proven experience in strategic communication, branding and campaign management, preferably within public‑sector or institutional contexts.
• Strong ability to translate organisational objectives into clear messaging and creative direction.
• Experience managing brand assets, guidelines and stakeholder training.
• Capability to coordinate cross‑functional teams and external partners to deliver projects on time.
• Analytical mindset for audience research, data‑driven insights and trend monitoring.
