Collections & Litigation Officer – Brussels

About the role

Join the Collections & Litigation team of Mercedes‑Benz Financial Services in Brussels. You will work directly with corporate clients, dealers and internal partners to monitor payment behaviour, manage at‑risk accounts and resolve non‑payment, litigation and fraud cases.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor high‑risk cases such as overdue payments, purchase‑option defaults and contract deviations.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and solutions with customers via phone and email.
• Act as liaison between Operations and Collections teams in Brussels and Berlin.
• Handle specific case types including excess mileage, unpaid purchase options, unreturned licence plates and insurance‑related issues.
• Support the wider Collections team by covering urgent tasks and adapting to shifting priorities.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills and confidence handling customer calls.
• Hands‑on mindset with a high sense of responsibility.
• Structured, accurate and quality‑focused approach.
• Analytical, solution‑oriented and able to act quickly in varied situations.
• Fluent in Dutch and French, with good English proficiency.
