Cloud Security Engineer

About the role

Aikido Security is building developer‑first security products that protect cloud workloads without slowing down software delivery. As a Cloud Security Engineer you will create new security capabilities for Kubernetes, Linux hosts and major cloud platforms, turning complex concepts into intuitive features.

Key responsibilities

• Design and ship end‑to‑end features for Aikido’s cloud security suite (CSPM, Kubernetes security, cloud inventory, reachability, etc.).
• Develop functionality covering Kubernetes, containers and IaC tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Research AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and Kubernetes to translate emerging cloud concepts into product features.
• Work directly with customers to understand real‑world cloud security challenges and help solve them.
• Collaborate with engineering to integrate cloud capabilities into the core platform and own features from idea to production, including testing and documentation.

Required profile

• Strong software engineering experience, preferably with Go or willingness to learn it.
• Experience building production‑grade software, not just operating infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of at least one public cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes and modern cloud‑native architectures.
• Comfortable discussing technical problems directly with customers and thriving in a fast‑moving startup environment.
