Cloud Engineer

About the role

Agoya is seeking a passionate Cloud Engineer to join its engineering team in Belgium. You will work on client cloud environments, collaborating with internal experts and client development and operations teams to deliver robust, automated infrastructure solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, provision, and maintain public cloud infrastructure (VMs, Kubernetes clusters, IAM accounts and roles) using Terraform, Packer and Helm.
• Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines and observability tooling.
• Support system administrators and developers in incident troubleshooting.
• Contribute to DevOps practices at both organisational and technical levels.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in cloud engineering or related DevOps roles.
• Strong understanding of at least one major cloud provider (GCP, Azure, or AWS) including IAM and container services.
• Solid Linux system‑administration skills.
• Proficiency in Python (or similar scripting language) for automation.
• Fluent English and proficiency in Dutch and/or French.
• Ability to work independently and mentor junior team members.
