Cloud DevOps Engineer

About the role

CloudSisters is looking for a Cloud DevOps Engineer to join its dynamic team in Destelbergen. You will help build and operate a platform for automated managed services while directly supporting client deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for rapid, reliable deployments.
• Enhance cloud services and optimise container orchestration on AWS and Azure.
• Automate deployment, monitoring and scaling processes across both cloud providers.
• Set up and manage client environments with a focus on performance, reliability and security.
• Troubleshoot technical issues to ensure optimal system performance.
• Promote DevOps best‑practice adoption across all departments.
• Maintain security and compliance standards.
• Stay up‑to‑date with the latest cloud and DevOps technologies and integrate them into solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience in cloud DevOps roles.
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid setup (average two days per week onsite).

Required skills

• CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, AWS CodeBuild/CodeDeploy/CodePipeline).
• Python scripting for automation.
• Container orchestration (Azure AKS, Amazon EKS).
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Hands‑on experience with AWS and Azure services.
