Cloud & DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud & DevOps Engineer to manage and evolve the infrastructure of a banking application on IBM Cloud. The role focuses on automation, security, and compliance with IBM Financial Services certification based on NIST 800‑53 Rev 4.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, manage, and optimize IBM Cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Helm charts.
• Administer and support OpenShift clusters ensuring scalability, security, high availability, and cost efficiency.
• Implement and enforce security best practices to meet IBM Financial Services certification and financial regulations.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize infrastructure and applications with Dynatrace.
• Automate deployment and configuration processes to improve efficiency and reduce operational risk.
• Collaborate with development and security teams to ensure cloud deployment best practices.
• Contribute to incident management and resolution to maintain high availability and performance.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with enterprise cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or IBM Cloud).
• Proven experience deploying and managing production OpenShift or Kubernetes environments.
• Expertise in Terraform, including module development, state management, and testing.
• Demonstrated ability to design and enforce security controls in regulated environments.
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, scripting, and other DevOps automation tools.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced cloud environment.
