Clinical Research Associate (Belgium, Netherlands)

About the role

Allucent is looking for an experienced Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to join its A-team. The CRA independently controls and monitors investigational sites, detects issues early and provides solutions so that clinical studies follow the trial protocol, SOPs, regulations and Good Clinical Practice. The role covers regulatory affairs, site activation (including contracting and start-up) and travel throughout the Netherlands and/or Belgium.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage all aspects of monitoring for assigned clinical trials, from site initiation through routine monitoring to close-out visits.
• Ensure compliance with protocols, GCP, ICH, SOPs and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Build strong site relationships and act as the primary point of contact, ensuring high-quality data collection.
• Identify and resolve site issues, escalating where needed to protect trial integrity and patient safety.
• Handle regulatory affairs, site activation and study-startup activities.

Required profile

• Experience leading monitoring in complex trials, at least 2 years.
• Strong understanding of ICH-GCP and regulatory guidelines.
• Clear and confident communication in English and Dutch.
• Comfortable working independently and managing priorities.
• Willingness to travel as required (8 days off per month).
