Civil Supervisor (CSA Owner's Rep) for Data Center Project

About the role

We are seeking a CSA Package Owner / Civil Supervisor to lead the construction of a large data‑center facility in Mons, Belgium. Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will ensure safety, quality and coordination across multiple contractors throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Prioritise safety and health of all personnel on site and enforce the Construction Safety & Health Plan and Environmental Management plans.
• Support the Construction Manager and act as the primary liaison with contractors, reviewing method statements, permits and risk assessments.
• Conduct weekly safety audits, safety meetings and coordination meetings, and document outcomes.
• Monitor day‑to‑day contractor activities to ensure compliance with safety, quality, schedule and cost requirements.
• Run and minute contractor weekly meetings, review weekly reports and participate in 4‑week look‑ahead and daily “whiteboard” planning sessions.
• Oversee the implementation of the contractors’ quality plan, perform daily inspections and witness required tests and inspections.
• Coordinate with the commissioning team during the turnover phase to ensure smooth hand‑over.

Required profile

• Proven experience in civil construction supervision on large‑scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations and environmental management.
• Ability to read and interpret contract scope, technical documentation and construction programmes.
• Excellent coordination skills to manage multiple contractors and interface with multidisciplinary teams.
