Chief Treasury Specialist

About the role

Based in Brussels, you will join the NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA) to support the transformation of IT services under NATO’s Digital Endeavour. Reporting to the General Manager and the Supervisory Board, the role focuses on treasury functions within the Finance department.

Key responsibilities

• Manage bank relations and negotiate service terms.
• Oversee payments processing and ensure timely settlements.
• Handle payroll, currency transfers and related treasury operations.
• Maintain cash and liquidity management to support agency activities.

Required profile

• Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with at least 4 years of related experience, or secondary qualification with at least 6 years of experience.
• Practical experience in financial accounting or treasury functions.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
• Proficiency with accountancy software and electronic banking tools.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, especially MS Excel.
