Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) – Trilingual (NL/FR/EN)

About the role

We are seeking a senior Chief Information Security Officer to lead strategic security initiatives for a client in Belgium. The role requires a trilingual professional who can translate complex security risks into clear business language and drive security maturity at the executive level.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement security governance, priorities, and roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Advise and influence senior stakeholders and board members on risk and compliance matters.
• Translate security risks into business language and communicate actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with internal technical experts to address deep‑technical security topics.
• Promote a culture of security awareness and continuous improvement across the organization.

Required profile

• Fluent in Dutch, French, and English.
• Extensive experience in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), risk management, and regulatory/security compliance.
• Proven ability to influence senior and board‑level management.
• Strategic mindset with strong business alignment and leadership capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with technical teams.
