Chef / Catering Manager

About the role

Aerospacelab, a vertically integrated small satellite manufacturer, is looking for a hands-on Chef / Catering Manager to run its in-house catering service for about 400 employees across two shifts. The role covers menu planning, purchasing, food preparation, daily service and event catering, with independent management of the kitchen and a small catering team.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute a varied weekly menu (sandwiches/wraps, homemade soups, daily special, salad bar) and ensure quality, presentation and portion consistency
• Supervise and coordinate the kitchen team for efficient daily service
• Organise catering for internal meetings, workshops and events, including platters adapted to group size, budget and special requests
• Provide a VIP service in two dedicated areas, coordinating with the Office, Communication and Sales departments
• Manage suppliers, place orders, verify deliveries, maintain inventory records and restock the rooftop bar while monitoring food costs
• Ensure full HACCP compliance, keep temperature logs and traceability records, and keep the kitchen clean and safe
• Handle kitchen operations, team building, scheduling, equipment maintenance, dishwashing and waste disposal
• Develop seasonal menu ideas, gather employee feedback and improve service quality and efficiency

Required profile

• At least 3 years' experience in corporate, institutional or small-scale food service, with proven team management experience
• Good knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP principles
• French and English
