Center Director – Brussels

About the role

CIEE is seeking a dynamic leader to launch and manage its new Brussels Center. As the founding Director, you will build the center from the ground up, aligning operations with CIEE’s global standards and mission to foster intercultural exchange.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the legal entity formation, compliance, and operational readiness for the Brussels Center.
• Identify, negotiate, and manage partnerships with local universities, internship providers, housing vendors, and service providers.
• Oversee facility selection, setup, and student housing solutions to ensure a safe, welcoming environment.
• Develop and deliver academic programs, including curriculum design, faculty recruitment, and internship coordination.
• Design and implement comprehensive student services: visa processing, orientation, emergency response, and health‑safety protocols.
• Monitor center performance, quality metrics, and growth initiatives once the first cohort launches.

Required profile

• Proven experience launching and managing educational or nonprofit centers.
• Strong strategic planning, operational execution, and partnership development skills.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Commitment to CIEE’s mission of building global bridges through exchange.
