Business Manager

About the role

MERITIS is looking for a driven Business Manager to accelerate its growth in Belgium. You will be based in Brussels and work closely with both clients and internal teams to expand the firm’s footprint in Finance, IT and Data & AI.

Key responsibilities

• Grow and manage relationships with the existing client portfolio.
• Identify, approach and develop new clients across Finance, IT and Data & AI sectors.
• Understand client needs and translate them into concrete business opportunities.
• Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, negotiation, closing and post‑sale follow‑up.
• Collaborate with the recruitment team to match the right expertise to client requirements.
• Contribute to the overall market presence and growth of MERITIS in Belgium.

Required profile

• Master’s degree.
• First professional experience (internship or job) in sales, business management or client‑facing roles.
• Fluent in French and/or Dutch, and English.
• Sales‑driven, entrepreneurial mindset and result‑oriented.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Curiosity about Finance, IT and Data & AI markets.
