Business Development Representative – French & English

About the role
As a Business Development Representative you will be the first point of contact for new prospects, driving the growth of Larcier‑Intersentia’s knowledge‑based solutions. You will work closely with sales and marketing to build a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and prospect new business opportunities through outbound activities such as cold calling, emailing and LinkedIn outreach.
- Act as the initial contact for inbound leads, delivering a professional and timely response.
- Qualify prospects against predefined criteria to ensure alignment with our product portfolio.
- Schedule well‑prepared meetings and calls for the sales team, providing all relevant background information.
- Maintain accurate records of all prospect interactions in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to review pipeline performance and refine outreach strategies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of outbound prospecting and appointment‑setting processes.
Required profile
- Proven experience in a BDR, SDR or similar outbound sales role.
- Fluent in French and English, both spoken and written.
- Self‑driven, proactive and motivated by achieving targets.
- Strong communication skills, especially over the phone.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally and build relationships with internal stakeholders.
Required skills
- Comfortable using CRM tools and data‑driven workflows.
