About the role
Hunter Douglas is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager for its Luxaflex brand to lead commercial growth in the Belgian market. This senior position will shape and execute a differentiated market approach across a fragmented landscape, focusing on insect screen and outdoor product segments.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct in‑depth market analysis of Belgian insect screen and outdoor markets.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive go‑to‑market and marketing strategy.
- Drive coordinated market development across multiple brands (Luxaflex, Artex, Multisol, Zonnelux).
- Strengthen and expand the dealer network, increasing multi‑brand adoption and loyalty.
- Lead and develop the local marketing function and ensure brand positioning aligns with EU‑wide strategy.
- Manage and develop internal and external sales teams.
- Partner cross‑functionally to deliver sustainable commercial growth.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Economics or a related field.
- 5–10 years of proven experience in business development, sales management or commercial leadership.
- Strong understanding of B2B dealer networks, preferably in home décor, shading solutions or related technical sectors.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking, analytical and problem‑solving capability.
- Effective leadership, stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
