Business Development Manager – BeLux Custom Flavors

About the role

Join a leading European specialist in custom flavours and functional solutions as a Business Development Manager for the Benelux market. Reporting to the Managing Director Benelux, you will shape the commercial strategy, drive growth, and contribute to the launch of around 1,500 new food and beverage products each year.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and expand the BeLux portfolio (50% new business, 50% account management) across chocolate, biscuits, beers, liqueurs, confectionery and related categories.
• Co‑create innovative flavour and ingredient solutions with R&D, production, quality and marketing teams, guiding projects from brief to market launch.
• Translate market insights into actionable commercial plans and build long‑term partnerships with key customers.
• Collaborate with the Managing Director Benelux to define and execute regional commercial strategy.

Required profile

• Higher education degree in business, food science, chemistry or a related technical field.
• Proven B2B industrial sales experience in the agri‑food or related sector.
• Fluency in Dutch (C2), strong English (C1) and good French (B2).
• Excellent negotiation skills and a track record of closing deals.

Required skills

• Knowledge of food industry trends and flavour chemistry.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with R&D, production, quality and marketing teams.
