About the role
The Business Development Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Brussels, Paris or Germany (remote), with flexibility for partial work from home. This role is responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, managing a pipeline of prospects, and driving revenue growth for LexisNexis Legal AI solutions in the Belgian market and potentially the broader European region.
Key responsibilities
- Engage with prospective and existing clients to understand their needs.
- Conduct needs assessments and prepare tailored presentations and product demonstrations.
- Negotiate commercial proposals and contracts.
- Manage a pipeline of prospects and drive revenue growth.
Required profile
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management in B2B environments, ideally within legal, technology, or professional services sectors.
- Strong skills in prospecting, pipeline management, and opportunity qualification, with the ability to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Comfort with digital tools and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and data‑driven decision‑making to track activity, forecast results, and optimise performance.
- Knowledge of the legal industry, AI‑driven solutions, or information services is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of other European languages is a plus.
