Business Development Executive – EU Public Sector & NATO

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Executive to launch and grow Aikido Security’s public‑sector and defence business across the EU and NATO. You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to contract signing, and be measured on the first revenue you generate.

Key responsibilities

• Drive and close the first revenue deals with ministries of defence, national cyber commands, CERTs and NATO bodies.
• Translate Aikido’s global go‑to‑market strategy into EU‑specific positioning and account plans.
• Build joint GTM plans with system integrators, regional partners and distributors and hold them accountable for pipeline.
• Lead public procurement processes, including tenders, RFPs and RFIs, and develop executive relationships with CISOs, procurement directors and cyber leadership.
• Accurately forecast sales in HubSpot and report progress.
• Participate in European defence and cyber policy circles to establish credibility.

Required profile

• Deep knowledge of cybersecurity, both offensive (pentesting, adversary tradecraft) and defensive (AppSec, supply‑chain security).
• Experience selling to government and defence organisations, understanding sovereign procurement rules.
• Ability to speak the acronyms and language of the defence and cyber community.
• Proven track record of closing complex, high‑value contracts.
