About the role
Smappee is looking for a driven Business Development & Account Manager to accelerate growth in the Wallonia region. You will focus on expanding the company’s presence within the EV charging ecosystem, turning new prospects into long‑term commercial partners.
Key responsibilities
- Prospect and acquire new business opportunities with installers, charge point operators, facility managers, fleet operators and real‑estate professionals.
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact and needs analysis to proposal, negotiation and closing.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring accurate follow‑up and CRM updates.
- Analyse customer requirements and develop tailored EV charging solutions that demonstrate clear added value.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity, translating insights into actionable commercial strategies.
- Participate in weekly sales meetings at the headquarters in Harelbeke, especially during onboarding.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably with hardware or technical solutions.
- Proven track record of generating new business and closing deals.
- Existing network in installers, distributors or energy‑related sectors is a strong asset.
- Experience in EV charging, energy, solar or smart‑building solutions is highly preferred.
- Fluent in French and professionally proficient in English.
- Commercially driven, resilient, comfortable with cold prospecting and independent work.
- Based in or near Wallonia, willing to travel frequently and holds a valid driver’s licence.
- Motivated by sustainability and the energy transition.
