Business Developer – AgriFoodTech (Europe)

About the role

The CER Groupe is looking for a Business Developer to drive growth in the AgriFoodTech sector across Europe. Based in Marche‑en‑Famenne, you will work at the interface of science and market, shaping the company’s value proposition and creating new commercial opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and develop new business opportunities in Europe within AgriFoodTech, FoodTech and Biotech.
• Build and maintain a strong client portfolio and a structured pipeline of projects.
• Retain and expand existing accounts while establishing strategic partnerships with industry, academia and clusters.
• Help define and refine the CER’s AgriFoodTech offering and value proposition.
• Monitor market trends such as biosolutions, probiotics, enzymes and functional ingredients.
• Translate complex customer requirements into concrete projects together with technical teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline.
• Significant business‑development experience in life sciences or AgriFoodTech.
• Strong prospecting and client‑development skills.
• Ability to understand and promote complex scientific solutions.
• Cross‑functional mindset with entrepreneurial, results‑oriented attitude.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Fluency in French, English and Dutch.
