About the role

As a Breakfast Waiter/Waitress at Corinthia Hotel Brussels you will welcome guests each morning, take their orders and ensure a smooth, pleasant breakfast service in a high‑end hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and present the breakfast menu.
• Answer menu questions and make recommendations.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen.
• Serve dishes and drinks efficiently, following hotel standards.
• Monitor guest needs throughout the service and respond promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, chairs and buffet stations.
• Replenish pastry buffet items, ensuring freshness and proper presentation.
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints and escalations professionally.
• Process payments and manage cash transactions accurately.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and fellow waitstaff to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow health, safety and confidentiality policies, including fire and safety procedures.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down the breakfast area before and after service.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a breakfast waiter or waitress in a hotel or restaurant.
• Ability to work flexible hours according to the hotel’s varying business levels.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Good communication skills and a courteous, guest‑focused attitude.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations and willingness to follow them.
• Respect for confidentiality regarding company, guest and employee information.
