BI Developer – Liège, Belgium

About the role

We are looking for a BI Developer to join our team in Liège, Belgium. The role focuses on designing, building and maintaining data pipelines and business‑intelligence products that support decision‑making, operational monitoring and strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Engineer end‑to‑end data products, from ingestion through transformation to consumption.
• Translate complex data sets into actionable insights, KPIs, dashboards and analytical reports for business and executive audiences.
• Implement data quality controls, governance policies and monitoring to ensure reliable, compliant data.
• Partner with operational teams to deliver ad‑hoc analyses, monitor processes and support strategic projects.
• Document data assets, provide training and guidance to foster a data‑driven culture.
• Contribute to the data roadmap by proposing improvements and staying current with best practices.

Required profile

• Think of data pipelines, datasets and dashboards as products with users, quality standards and long‑term ownership.
• Analytical mindset with a strong business orientation, able to understand the “why” behind the numbers.
• Solid technical foundation in SQL and Python (or PySpark) and knowledge of data modeling and performance optimisation.
• Commitment to code quality, documentation, data governance and reproducibility.
• Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Proficient in English (minimum B2 level).
