Backend Developer – Java/Spring Boot

About the role

Cooperlink is looking for a medior or senior Java backend developer to help shape the future of its innovative SaaS platform. You will work closely with product and development teams, contributing to a cutting‑edge solution that drives the company’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the backend of the Cooperlink platform using Java, Spring Boot and Hibernate.
• Design and optimise PostgreSQL databases and write efficient queries.
• Integrate third‑party tools and services through APIs.
• Collaborate with the frontend team when needed and support UI initiatives.
• Experiment with new features, conduct proof‑of‑concepts and drive technical innovation.

Required profile

• Several years of professional experience in Java development.
• Strong motivation to work in a young, dynamic team and contribute to a scaling product.
• Curious, creative and comfortable taking initiative.
• Fluent in French or Dutch (English proficiency required for daily work).
• Willingness to work onsite at Liege Airport Business Park with up to 50% remote flexibility.
