Back Office Engineer

About the role

Netcompany is looking for a Back Office Engineer to manage and optimise its Identity and Access Management (IAM) platforms. You will ensure the reliability, security and performance of authentication, authorization and identity provisioning services across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, maintain and troubleshoot IAM platforms, including directory services and identity federation.
• Perform deployments, upgrades, patching, configuration changes, backup/recovery and overall infrastructure maintenance.
• Support infrastructure projects, system migrations and application integrations in collaboration with development and support teams.
• Monitor platform performance, investigate alerts and analyse logs to proactively resolve issues.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis, implement corrective actions and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage security activities such as certificate lifecycle, vulnerability remediation and compliance with security best practices.
• Develop and optimise automation scripts to streamline IAM operations.
• Handle incidents, service requests, problems, changes and releases following ITIL best practices, while maintaining documentation and knowledge transfer.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant professional experience.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Hands‑on experience with Linux (RedHat), Oracle Database, Oracle WebLogic Server, Apache Tomcat, LDAP and IAM concepts.
• Proficiency in Shell, Bash or Perl scripting.
• Familiarity with Git, Bamboo, Nexus, Dynatrace, Splunk, ServiceNow and Jira.
• Practical experience with IT Service Management processes (Incident, Change, Release, Problem) and ITIL best practices.
