Avionics Maintenance Technician (B2) – Helicopter

About the role
Leonardo Belgium is seeking an Avionics Maintenance Technician (B2) to join its helicopter maintenance team in Grace‑Hollogne, Liège. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will carry out avionics and electrical maintenance on Leonardo helicopter models, ensuring compliance with EASA, FAA and UK CAA regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Perform avionics and electrical maintenance operations on helicopters.
- Conduct scheduled and unscheduled inspections, troubleshooting, functional tests and defect rectification.
- Remove, install and replace equipment and components as required.
- Complete maintenance documentation, work cards and intervention reports in line with regulatory requirements.
- Use tools and test equipment according to procedures, quality standards and safety regulations.
- Report any anomaly, defect or airworthiness issue identified during maintenance.
- Carry out inspection and dual‑inspection tasks within your authorisations and qualifications.
Required profile
- Full EASA Part‑66 B2 licence preferred; candidates with at least 75 % of the Part‑66 B2 modules are also considered.
- Junior candidates near completion of training and experienced professionals are welcome.
- Previous aircraft or helicopter maintenance experience is an asset but not mandatory.
- Ability to read, understand and complete technical documentation in English.
- Legal right to work in Belgium and ability to commute daily to Grace‑Hollogne or relocate permanently.
