AUTOSAR Base Software (BSW) Engineer

About the role

Join a Belgian engineering consulting firm as an AUTOSAR Base Software Engineer, working on the eDCT product within the Software Integration & Base Software team. You will collaborate closely with system and application software teams to deliver robust, safe, and high‑quality automotive software.

Key responsibilities

• Specify, design, implement, and document software functionalities.
• Develop test specifications and write test cases together with the SW Verification and Validation team.
• Develop new software components and maintain existing products.
• Collaborate with system and application software teams to solve complex technical challenges.
• Assist in diagnosing and resolving software‑level issues.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• More than 4 years of experience in Classic AUTOSAR based embedded software development.
• Strong understanding of microcontroller architectures and software design patterns.
• Experience with automotive development standards such as ASPICE.
• Good communication skills in English.
