Assistant F&B Director Internship

About the role

This internship supports the Food & Beverage (F&B) department at The Hoxton, Brussels, helping with daily administration, service coverage, and project work. You will gain hands‑on experience in a vibrant hotel environment while collaborating with managers and the operational team.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with daily administrative tasks for the F&B department.
• Cover service shifts during peak periods, sickness, or increased activity.
• Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) based on manager requests.
• Manage staffing needs for events, trainings, and daily operations.
• Coordinate weekly schedules for occasional staff (extras, students, flexi) via Strobbo.
• Distribute uniforms, monitor stock levels, and initiate re‑ordering.
• Develop and communicate food and drink bibles, new menus, and tastings.
• Use Sevenrooms, Micros, and other tools to support operations.
• Analyze and respond to online customer reviews (TripAdvisor, Google).
• Prepare reports, track labor costs, and assist with end‑of‑month inventories.
• Support the creation and monitoring of various F&B projects.
