Architect/Developer – Energy Efficiency Projects

About the role

Watt Matters is seeking an Architect/Developer specialized in building techniques to lead energy‑efficiency projects for new and large‑scale residential developments. The role combines commercial development with deep technical knowledge of low‑carbon solutions, supporting the company’s ambition to accelerate the energy transition.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, analyse and design turnkey energy solutions for promoters and developers of residential projects.
• Present and negotiate commercial models based on third‑party investor financing, covering installation, operation and maintenance.
• Develop and execute a sales strategy for the construction market, defining KPIs and tools.
• Build long‑term relationships with clients while maintaining ethical standards.
• Collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure accurate value propositions and go‑to‑market alignment.

Required profile

• Strong commercial acumen with a genuine environmental awareness.
• Experience in the construction sector, preferably with large‑scale housing projects.
• Ability to understand and communicate technical solutions to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Proactive, results‑driven attitude and comfortable mobilising internal support.
