Aeronautical Design Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Aeronautical Design Engineer to join AYES Belgium’s engineering team. You will work on the creation and modification of detailed 3D models for aeronautical structures, supporting the development of high‑quality aircraft components.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and update 3D models in CATIA V5 based on concept designs and aeronautical design principles.
• Prepare Design Definition Dossiers, including FTA 3D annotations and part lists.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure engineering solutions meet performance and safety requirements.
• Support the integration of metallic and composite parts into the overall aircraft structure.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
• First experience in aeronautical structure design.
• Ability to work autonomously and take initiative.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CATIA V5.
• Experience with Teamcenter product data management.
• Knowledge of metallic and/or composite part design.
