Accountant – International Finance Team (Belgium)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to own key financial processes within an international business environment. You will join a collaborative finance team that supports operations across Belgium and the wider European region.

Key responsibilities

• Manage month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end statutory close activities.
• Prepare statutory and management financial reports.
• Own VAT returns, Intrastat reporting and corporate tax preparation.
• Manage fixed assets and support audit activities.
• Support intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Maintain financial controls and ERP master data.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, auditors and tax advisors across multiple countries.

Required profile

• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of Belgian GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience with Belgian VAT, corporation tax, Intrastat reporting and EU VAT reclaim processes.
• Professional accounting qualification or a degree in Accounting/Finance.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency.
