Accountant – EMEA Shared Service Center

About the role

Join Brunswick, a global marine leader, as an Accountant responsible for the BME set of books across EMEA entities. You will ensure accurate accounting, timely reporting, and compliance while supporting business performance and financial governance.

Key responsibilities

• Book supplier invoices, follow up on variances and ensure proper approvals.
• Maintain fixed‑asset modules, record monthly depreciation, and handle asset invoices.
• Reconcile inter‑company balances and prepare group reporting packages.
• Prepare summary balance sheets, P&L statements, and load reporting files for monthly, quarterly and annual close.
• Execute closing tasks for branches, including accruals, G/L entries, expense approvals, and reinvoicing.
• Act as point of contact for internal/external auditors, Tax, Treasury and FP&A teams.
• Provide ad‑hoc analysis and support to local management and corporate groups.

Required profile

• Accounting or Finance degree with 3‑5 years of general accounting experience, preferably in an international environment.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset and ability to work under pressure.
• Fluent in English and French; German is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel
• Basic understanding of US GAAP

What we offer

• Competitive annual salary between €50,000 and €69,300 (13.92 installments).
