Account Manager – Optical Sector

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to drive commercial growth of ophthalmic solutions across Flanders. The role focuses on expanding our presence within healthcare accounts, building strong relationships with eye‑care professionals, and promoting innovative vision‑care products.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, engage and develop new business opportunities with ophthalmologists, clinics and hospital‑based eye‑care providers.
• Strengthen partnerships with existing customers and cultivate long‑term relationships with key decision‑makers.
• Lead strategic growth initiatives such as myopia management, leveraging clinical evidence and market insights.
• Promote a portfolio of vision‑care solutions, including presbyopia and eye‑protection products.
• Design and execute territory plans that translate market opportunities into sustainable results.
• Act as a trusted advisor, providing expertise on products, pricing, market trends and practice development.
• Coordinate cross‑functional activities—product implementation, customer training and ongoing support—to ensure a best‑in‑class experience.

Required profile

• Qualified Optometrist.
• Proven sales success in MedTech or eyecare (hunter profile).
• Established network within ophthalmology.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus.
