About the role
The NATO Young Professionals Programme (YPP) is a three‑year full‑time rotational programme focused on Space Innovation & Engineering. Participants will rotate through three NATO bodies – Allied Command Transformation in Brussels, NATO Communications and Information Agency in The Hague, and the Defence Industry, Innovation and Armaments Division at NATO HQ in Norfolk – gaining hands‑on experience in cutting‑edge space capabilities.
Key responsibilities
- Support the development and delivery of NATO space capabilities in collaboration with allies and industry partners.
- Contribute to innovation projects across land, sea, air, space and cyber domains.
- Engage with NATO’s space enterprise to identify emerging technologies and operational requirements.
- Assume increasing responsibilities each year, culminating in strategic support for defence industry and armaments.
Required profile
- National of a NATO member state.
- Master’s degree (any discipline).
- Minimum of one year relevant work experience.
- Willingness to relocate to Brussels, The Hague and Norfolk during the programme.
