Senior Insurance Transformation Manager

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Insurance Transformation Manager to lead end‑to‑end transformation programmes for leading insurers in Belgium and internationally. The role sits within the Financial Services Governance, Risk & Compliance team of Assurance and reports to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead insurance transformation programmes from strategy through implementation.
• Drive process and digital improvements across underwriting, claims and finance, balancing efficiency, data and risk control.
• Strengthen governance, risk and compliance frameworks to ensure regulatory alignment and audit readiness.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, providing strategic insights on market developments.
• Lead, coach and develop multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high‑quality outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in insurance transformation, risk, controls or audit, with deep understanding of insurance operations.
• Demonstrated ability to own complex projects and deliver results within scope, timeline and budget.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, able to influence senior decision‑makers.
• Leadership experience fostering inclusive, high‑performing teams.
• Strategic thinker with hands‑on problem‑solving mindset, comfortable using data and technology.
