Senior Financial Controller

About the role

The Senior Financial Controller will lead strategic financial reporting, support transaction readiness, manage public funding and oversee core financial operations. This role reports directly to the CEO and Board, providing actionable insights that drive executive decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver accurate, timely financial reporting packages to the CEO and Board, translating complex data into clear insights.
• Maintain transaction‑ready documentation, support investment rounds and due‑diligence with financial models and analytics.
• Identify and structure grant applications, manage accountability and auditing for public funds.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow management, capital structure, and banking/investor relationships while ensuring internal controls and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in financial management (or equivalent) with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
• Proven track record as a Financial Controller in a high‑growth scale‑up environment.
• Hands‑on M&A experience, having participated in a sale or major funding round.
• Ability to explain complex P&L statements to non‑financial audiences and remain calm under pressure.
