Senior Compliance & Regulatory Consultant

About the role

You will join PwC’s Financial Services Governance, Risk & Compliance team in Brussels, advising leading banks, insurers and payment institutions on regulatory, compliance and non‑financial risk challenges. The role focuses on building sustainable compliance frameworks and strengthening governance in a fast‑evolving digital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support regulatory and compliance projects covering AML/CFT, KYC, anti‑bribery, fraud risk, MiFID, IDD and governance rules.
• Assess non‑financial risks, design and test control frameworks, and deliver actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with colleagues and client teams to implement operational solutions across processes and technology.
• Contribute to thought leadership on emerging topics such as AI, data analytics and digital transformation.

Required profile

• Experience in compliance, non‑financial risk or regulatory matters within financial institutions.
• Strong analytical abilities and a structured, reliable work approach.
• Excellent communication skills in English and professional proficiency in Dutch and/or French.
• Proactive, curious and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Law background is a strong plus.
