Senior Audit Manager

About the role

PwC is looking for a Senior Audit Manager to join its Assurance practice in Brussels. You will act as an ambassador of the PwC brand, building strong relationships with clients and leading audit engagements across various industries.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain direct contact with clients, working on‑site and independently while collaborating with experienced engagement teams.
• Plan, execute, and complete audit engagements, ensuring high‑quality deliverables.
• Develop and maintain relationships with middle and senior client management.
• Identify opportunities to help clients solve complex business problems.
• Distribute work among junior team members, coach them, and evaluate performance.
• Contribute to the development of the audit team through performance and development coaching.

Required profile

• Master’s degree.
• 8‑10 years of experience in financial statement audit.
• Proven analytical and organisational abilities.
• Strong relationship‑building track record.
• Ability to work autonomously and act as a self‑starter.
• Experience supervising and developing junior staff.
• Excellent communication skills in English and either Dutch or French.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of IFRS.
• Basic knowledge of US GAAP.
