Quality Engineer – Semiconductor Manufacturing

About the role

Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Quality Engineer with deep expertise in semiconductor manufacturing. You will implement and maintain quality management systems, ensuring client products meet the highest standards while driving continuous improvement across complex production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and promote continuous‑improvement best practices for semiconductor processes.
• Conduct quality audits and assessments to verify compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
• Analyze quality data, generate reports on metrics, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to determine root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
• Create and maintain quality documentation, including SOPs and work instructions.
• Review and interpret Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure alignment with quality objectives.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Engineering (Electronics, Materials Science, or related field).
• 5–8 years of quality engineering experience in semiconductor or high‑tech manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and quality control methodologies.
• Hands‑on experience with quality management systems and continuous‑improvement tools.
• Proficiency in analyzing technical documents, SLAs, and specifications.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards such as ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
