Lead Consultant – Cisco ACI Architect

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Consultant who will own and drive the design, implementation and transformation of data‑center networks using Cisco ACI and F5 BIG‑IP technologies for our clients in Brussels. The role combines deep technical expertise with consulting skills to deliver end‑to‑end solutions that align with business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute ACI‑based data‑center architecture strategies aligned with enterprise roadmaps.
• Lead greenfield and brownfield DC transformation projects (VXLAN EVPN → ACI) and establish design principles, standards and reusable patterns.
• Drive policy‑driven and intent‑based networking models and integrate ACI with hybrid/cloud environments.
• Design and implement enterprise application delivery using F5 BIG‑IP (LTM, GTM/DNS, WAF, APM, AFM) including load‑balancing, SSL offload and security services.
• Architect multi‑site/multi‑pod fabrics, tenant/VRF/BD/EPG segmentation and L3Out connectivity.
• Lead end‑to‑end delivery from requirement gathering through design, implementation, migration and hyper‑care.
• Define and enforce automation strategies using Ansible, Python, REST APIs, Terraform and Infrastructure‑as‑Code for ACI provisioning.
• Conduct architecture reviews, ensure compliance with enterprise standards and provide governance.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in enterprise networking and data‑center transformation.
• Proven expertise with Cisco ACI, F5 BIG‑IP and modern data‑center architectures.
• Strong background in designing greenfield and brownfield projects and in integrating networking with VMware or Kubernetes platforms.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to business stakeholders.
