Full Stack Developer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our team on a freelance basis in Brussels. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining both front‑end and back‑end components of our web applications, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and responsive.

Key responsibilities

• Develop front‑end architecture using JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Design interactive user interfaces and responsive web pages.
• Implement back‑end services with Java, Spring/EJB and JPA/Hibernate.
• Create and manage databases (Oracle, MySQL) and server environments.
• Design, develop and document RESTful APIs.
• Build data processing pipelines and perform data modelling.
• Apply security best practices and data protection measures.
• Lead small projects, maintain code quality, and ensure clean, functional code across the stack.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience with Java, JPA and SQL.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Ability to deliver high‑quality work in a fast‑changing technology environment.
