Demand Planner

About the role

As a Demand Planner based in Belgium, you will join the Benelux Demand Planning team and work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service and other functions to improve the quality of business planning.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the local Sales & Operations planning process, integrating perspectives from all departments.
• Analyse Service Level in‑Full, Forecast Accuracy and Forecast Bias to identify gaps and optimisation opportunities.
• Apply AI and machine‑learning forecasting methods in SAP APO to create unbiased demand plans.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on promotional and product launch planning.
• Support the regional supply centre of excellence to optimise stock distribution and safety‑stock levels.
• Identify and implement new processes and systems for greater efficiency.
• Contribute proactively to the Benelux Demand Planning team culture.

Required profile

• Academic degree in Supply Chain or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience, preferably in FMCG or a commercial Demand & Supply Planning environment.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to build effective internal and external partnerships.
• Proactive problem‑solving, excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Fluency in English; French and Dutch are a plus.
