Communication, Event & Community Manager (VIE)

About the role

As a Communication, Event & Community Manager on a VIE contract, you will be the central hub for Le Village by CA’s vibrant startup ecosystem in Brussels. You will amplify the accelerator’s story, organise engaging events and nurture a strong sense of community among entrepreneurs, corporates and investors.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute communication strategies across social media, newsletters and press to raise Le Village’s visibility.
• Create compelling content that showcases community successes and best practices.
• Represent Le Village at local and national events, building external partnerships.
• Organise and facilitate workshops, networking sessions and major events such as pitch days and conferences.
• Act as the primary point of contact for community members, gathering feedback and addressing needs.
• Support onboarding of new startups and partners, and assist with event logistics and budgeting.
• Monitor community KPIs and contribute to regular reporting.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in communications, business, event management or a related field.
• Strong interest in entrepreneurship, innovation and startup ecosystems.
• Creative, hands‑on attitude with the ability to take initiative.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French; Dutch is a plus.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
