Buyer – Nuclear Projects

About the role

Capgemini Engineering is looking for a proactive Buyer to support a major industrial overhaul in the nuclear sector. You will work closely with site teams and global procurement to ensure timely and cost‑effective acquisition of goods and services.

Key responsibilities

• Draft tender documents, lead negotiations and issue purchase orders aligned with project planning.
• Coordinate with global procurement to leverage framework contracts and align with corporate strategy.
• Conduct market analysis and cost benchmarking to drive value for the project.
• Manage and qualify a supplier panel using company tools, resolve disputes and guarantee continuity of supply.
• Participate in site meetings and collaborate daily with site management, maintenance, operations and planning teams.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing or supplier management.
• Advanced proficiency with MAXIMO CMMS and familiarity with procurement qualification tools.
• Strong analytical and negotiation abilities, fluent in French and English.
• Self‑motivated, adaptable and able to thrive in a multi‑stakeholder environment.
