Business Manager - Energy & Transport

About the role

Avertim is seeking a Business Manager to lead its Energy & Transport practice in Brussels. You will act as an entrepreneur within the firm, building client relationships, driving new business, and overseeing project delivery across Banking, Insurance, Energy and Transport sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and expand a portfolio of clients in the targeted sectors.
• Lead commercial discussions, proposals, contract negotiations and consulting sales cycles.
• Identify business opportunities, build executive relationships and generate sustainable growth.
• Ensure successful project delivery regarding scope, quality, budget and client satisfaction.
• Recruit, manage and develop high‑potential consultants, fostering a collaborative culture.
• Contribute to talent attraction and retention initiatives together with HR.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a consultancy, business development, project management or management role, preferably in Energy or Transport.
• Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Sciences or an MBA.
• Fluent in Dutch and/or French and English.
• Strong entrepreneurial mindset, leadership and commercial negotiation skills.
