Junior Infrastructure AI Specialist

About the role

As a Junior Infrastructure AI Specialist you will work at the intersection of platform engineering and applied AI, helping to embed machine‑learning capabilities into enterprise infrastructure. You will build MLOps pipelines, deploy AI/ML models on cloud platforms and use generative AI to improve automation, observability and service reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain MLOps pipelines for model training, evaluation and deployment.
• Deploy AI/ML models on AWS SageMaker, Azure ML or Vertex AI and manage CI/CD workflows with MLflow, Kubeflow or Azure ML Pipelines.
• Develop RAG‑based and GenAI‑powered automation use cases and data pipelines from infrastructure telemetry.
• Monitor model performance, support retraining when drift is detected and document solutions with model cards and runbooks.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to provision GPU/TPU resources and integrate AI solutions with enterprise APIs, ITSM tools and monitoring systems.

Required profile

• Fluency in French (mandatory) and professional‑level English.
• Ability to work in an international, multicultural environment.
• Citizenship of a NATO member country and eligibility to work in Belgium.

Required skills

• Python programming for data processing, model development and automation.
• Foundational knowledge of machine‑learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit‑learn).
• Experience with cloud AI/ML services (AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, Vertex AI).
• Understanding of REST APIs, JSON and system integration.
• Version control with Git, GitHub/GitLab.
• Containerisation (Docker) and basic Kubernetes for ML workloads.
• Familiarity with MLOps tools such as MLflow or Weights & Biases.
• Basic knowledge of vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector) and RAG architectures.
