Business Developer & Business Manager – Consulting (Brussels/Antwerp/Gent)

About the role

This is an intrapreneurial position within an international consulting group, allowing you to run your own business unit while working on high‑value projects for leading industrial and technology clients. The role is based in Brussels, Antwerp or Gent.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage a client portfolio, combining business development, account management and long‑term relationship building.
• Engage directly with clients to understand their challenges and translate them into concrete consulting solutions.
• Support consultants throughout their project lifecycle, from client introduction to quarterly reviews and annual evaluations.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to define hiring needs, participate in candidate selection and prepare consultants for client interactions.
• Monitor KPIs, performance and profitability to ensure project continuity, quality and growth.

Required profile

• Solid commercial acumen and a strong client‑facing orientation.
• 2‑4 years of experience in consultancy, staffing or a comparable client‑driven environment where business development and delivery intersect.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of results and navigate between clients, candidates and internal stakeholders.
• Solution‑oriented mindset with quick adaptation to changing priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree and fluency in French or Dutch and English.
