Trade Marketing Intern – Purina

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Trade Marketing Specialist to join our Category Management team for a six‑month paid internship. As part of Purina, you will support well‑known pet care brands and help strengthen our in‑store footprint across FMCG and specialist retailers.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate development of POS materials with external partners and the purchasing department.
• Create offline/store communication and cash‑point promotions to influence shopper behaviour.
• Manage content creation during internal and cross‑business meetings.
• Track visibility of our brands and competitors in‑store and offline.
• Support category managers with planograms and assist the shopper marketing manager with briefings.

Required profile

• Fluent in French and/or Dutch, and fluent in English.
• Pursuing or completed a degree in Economics, Sales, Communication, Marketing or a related field.
• Junior professional with a hands‑on approach and preferably previous internship experience.
• Proactive, autonomous and able to manage several projects simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
