Service Team Leader – Field Service Operations

About the role

As a Service Team Leader you will drive the performance of our field service department, ensuring high‑quality maintenance and rapid response for our power and energy customers. You will combine technical expertise with leadership to boost customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of service engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Plan, schedule and allocate resources for preventive, corrective and emergency interventions.
• Monitor service metrics, analyse trends and implement corrective actions.
• Serve as primary contact for key customer accounts, handling service inquiries and escalations.
• Collaborate with sales, project management and other internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Manage service agreements, warranty claims and spare‑parts inventory.
• Identify opportunities for contract renewals and upselling of additional services.
• Prepare regular performance reports for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of field service experience in the power or energy industry.
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience managing technical professionals.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel frequently within Belgium and occasionally abroad.

Required skills

• Strong technical knowledge of power products and systems (transformers, switchgear, grid automation).
• Proficiency with project management tools and techniques.
