MRO Buyer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, hands‑on MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) Buyer to manage the procurement of spare parts, tools, and technical services. You will work closely with maintenance, engineering, and production teams, contributing to continuous improvement and digitalisation within a dynamic industrial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage procurement of MRO‑related goods and services for multiple business lines.
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and suppliers to understand requirements and deliver suitable solutions.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships across the BENE region.
• Conduct price analysis, negotiate contracts, and support contract management.
• Monitor deliveries and service quality, proactively resolving any issues.
• Contribute to inventory optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in MRO procurement or technical purchasing.
• Fluency in English, French and Dutch.
• Solid understanding of technical materials and industrial maintenance processes.
• Strong communication skills and ability to align with internal stakeholders.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented attitude with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
• Structured approach to analysis, supplier management and problem solving.
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to support broader procurement activities.
• Curiosity to learn and develop further in procurement.
• Experience with SAP / S/4 HANA.
