Medior Front-End Engineer – Digital Customer Onboarding

About the role

We are looking for a Medior Front‑End Engineer to join our Digital Customer Onboarding team. You will work in a Scrum environment, modernising an existing application and delivering new features using Next.js, React and TypeScript.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a high‑performing front‑end built with Next.js 14+, React 18+ and strict TypeScript typing.
• Co‑lead the front‑end development effort after an initial onboarding period.
• Implement state and data management with TanStack Query and complex forms using React Hook Form and Zod.
• Integrate authentication (Auth0) and apply modern web‑security best practices.
• Write unit and integration tests with Jest, React Testing Library and MSW, and ensure WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility.
• Collaborate with designers using Material‑UI (MUI) and Emotion/CSS‑in‑JS, optimise Core Web Vitals and runtime performance.
• Participate in Git workflows, Azure DevOps pipelines, code reviews and basic Docker containerisation.
• Support feature‑flagging, monitoring, AB testing, Google Tag/Data Layer and Growthbook initiatives.

Required profile

• 3+ years of front‑end development experience, including at least 2 years building production‑grade Next.js/React applications.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a passion for accessibility and performance.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in an Agile/Scrum setting, contributing to sprint planning, backlog refinement and estimations.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
